My husband and I foster dogs for the Pottawatomie County Caring Hearts Humane Society. We bring a needy dog (mostly of our choosing) into our home and help adjust them to home life. We take them with us on errands, and include them in normal daily life. It make such a difference to these dogs to get this opportunity to live outside of the shelter environment until they find their furever homes.
